MEET THE BLOOM TEAM
Hi, I’m Caitlin — principle of Bloom Bookkeeping. With over 15 years in finance and a background that includes an Associate’s Degree in Fashion Design & Merchandising and a Bachelor of Business Administration, my career has taken me from global fashion brands to public practice accounting and corporate finance. Along the way, I saw how powerful it is when business owners truly understand their numbers — and how often they don’t get that clarity from traditional bookkeeping.
In 2021, I started Bloom with a mission to change that. I work with established businesses across industries — from construction and real estate to professional services — to improve profitability, strengthen cash flow, and create sustainable growth. My approach blends technical expertise with a holistic, big-picture perspective, so my clients feel confident, informed, and in control of their business.
Based in Nanaimo, BC, I believe bookkeeping isn’t just about reconciling accounts — it’s about building strategy, supporting decisions, and freeing up owners to focus on what they do best. Outside of work, you’ll find me on my yoga mat, exploring the beach, or spending time with my family.
Felina B, Bookkeeper
Felina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bookkeeping Certificate. She brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to her work, with a strong focus on accuracy, organization, and consistency.
With her background in psychology, Felina has a strong ability to stay organized, work through complex information, and approach her work with care and focus. She is building her experience across a range of bookkeeping tasks and enjoys developing efficient, reliable processes.
Felina is committed to learning and growing in her role, and takes pride in supporting the team with dependable, well-prepared work.
Elena T, Office Admin and Systems
Elena is Bloom’s Office Administrator and Digital Systems Specialist, bringing structure and clarity to the day-to-day operations behind the scenes. With a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Victoria, she approaches her role with a thoughtful, organized, and people-first mindset.
Often described as the “librarian of Bloom,” Elena manages documents, systems, and workflows with precision, ensuring everything is exactly where it needs to be. From onboarding to inbox management and internal processes, she keeps things running smoothly and efficiently.
Elena is known for her reliability, attention to detail, and ability to bring order to complex systems. She takes pride in supporting both the team and clients through strong organization and seamless coordination.
